The summer of Taplow Court open days start in May and continue throughout the summer, ending with the National Heritage Day on 14 September.

This summer, once again, the gates of Taplow Court will be open for members of the public to roam around our beautiful gardens, learn about our historic house and grounds, and enjoy a wonderful cream tea or slice of cake. The exhibition about Daisaku Ikeda’s life and achievements will also be on display in the house.

Open days are very popular with the local community and have resulted in many people forming a connection with Nichiren Buddhism and SGI-UK, and some have gone on to receive Gohonzon and become members as a result.

On Sunday 8 June, there will be stalls selling a variety of produce to raise funds for Thames Hospice, which supports end of life patients in three local counties. SGI-UK and this hospice have a long-established connection and so we are hoping to deepen the bonds of friendship with them and within the community with this special event.

The dates are: Sunday 11 May, 8 June, 13 July, 10 August and 14 September.
